so I bought a lovely bracelet from Pallina designs and it arrived yesterday. I was disappointed to see it had lost a stone - just a small one - but I wore it anyway, and already love it. it is so pretty it makes me smile. Now Amanda wants me to send it back so she can fix it. I'm thinking thats sad, I'll have no bracelet for 2 weeks. That does sound silly, doesn't it. I mean up until yesterday I was fine without it. ANyway good to get it right, and I'll get her to make it smaller at the same time.
I would like to have an at home business like that too. Minding the kids and crafting all day and selling over the internet. Also building a following on facebook and running surveys and competitions. Well, I"ve started, with my fb artists profile. The only problem now is finding time to paint. It takes a lot longer to preduce a painting than I imagine it would take to make a peice of jewelery, not that I'd want to be hunched over fine jewerly work all day everyday. Painting is better for that. I get tired after 2 hours of painintg , though. I can't paint at night because the light is not strong enough. I'll have to work on finding a plug for the spotlights - that would definitley help. Otherwise I just have the time when Ella-Rose is sleeping, which is also the time I have lunch, sometimes a shower, do housework and catch up on fb and e-mails. Very sort after time. It is also good to get up in the morning and do some, but I have to be up early enough, and it is frustrating if someone else hears me and gets up early too - ALyssa you know who you are. It is also frustrating if I am in the swing of it and then sddenly have to stop because a child is calling me.
Ok, its a deal. I'll set u the lights so I can paint sometimes in the evenings, and I'll try and do one morning a weekend getting up early. Still there will be a gap between paintings, but these things can't be rushed.
I think I might need a new canvas for the kak pic though, so a shoping trip is in order. We also need groceries though, and that is more urgent, especially the bananas.
